Pine 6-board blanket box

An 18th-century six-board blanket box with original cotter pin hinges and lid cleats. On the interior is a large till with its lid, which is decorated with a simple edge moulding. The box is unpainted, and there is no evidence of any prior paint on its surface. Good, mellow oxidized surface. A piece of the left front leg has broken off and is lost, but we've not felt that it needed repair.
