Small 17th century oak slant-lid desk box on stand

A rare object, consisting of an early 17th century slant lid box atop a slightly later oak stand. The lid of the box is affixed with two forged butterfly hinges. An 18th century lock box replaces the original, slightly obscuring the first of the two initials on the face.
