A Charles II joined stool with a wide splay and rich color

Found in the English Midlands, this excellent stool has very desirable characteristics: fanciful turnings, including acorns, good height, and rich, dark color. The stretchers and apron are both moulded and joined to the turned legs with two pegs at each joint, and the two-board top is affixed to the base with six oak pegs.

We feel that this is one of the nicest stools we’ve offered of late.
