These charming brooches and aigrettes were worn from the 17th century through the early 19th. Some aigrettes were fitted with flexible wires and thus became tremblants. Silver topped, gold backed, "feather" or "wheat-ear" type paste pin, set with clear stones and a C-clasp. English, 18th century. Height is 1 1/2", width 2".
