When we first learned of plans to demolish Yoken's Restaurant and Conference Center in Portsmouth, many of us feared the loss of a one of our favorite venue. We were, therefore, very relieved to receive a contract from Paul for this season -- in a new venue and with a new name, but of similar size and format. The new venue is The Faro Gardens Banquet Center, only a few miles south of Yoken's on Route 1. Like its predecessor, the Hampton Falls Antiques Market opens at 10:00 and closes at 3:00.

Our first visit to this market, on November 21, was a huge success. Dealers and retail buyers came to the show's new location in great numbers, and many dealers -- including us -- had excellent shows.
