Antiques at the Equinox

Many years ago, when our idea of an antiques show was to set up a tent, display quality antiques in a more-or-less haphazard manner, and succumb to the vagaries of weather, we were invited to exhibit at an upscale antiques show in the Equinox Hotel in Manchester, Vermont. One of our first indoor shows, the Equinox show was for quite a few years a high point in our Fall schedule. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed when the hotel was purchased by the Guinness Corporation, who undertook a massive re-appointing of the New England landmark hotel, and caused cancellation of the show.
