FedEx BooBoo
OK, we can understand that someone could look at the abbreviation "INTL" (international) and confuse it with the word "INDIANA". We're sure that you could, too. They both begin with IN, after all.

At any rate, that's the explanation offered by our Federal Express delivery guy to explain why our shipment, which had cleared U.S. Customs in Memphis on Monday (only one day's "administrative" delay this time), and had arrived in Hartford on Tuesday morning, went from Bradley International Airport near Hartford, not to Conway, less than an hour's drive, but to Indianapolis, by air. Fortunately, someone in Indiana realized the error in time to get it back to Bradley in time for it to arrive in Conway on Wednesday, only one additional day late. We're still not sure why, but when we called Fed Ex on Tuesday, we were told that the shipment was actually in Raleigh, NC!
This extra handling may have something to do with the pair of forklift holes in one side of the box that we discovered when it arrived. While the driver waited and watched, we opened the box and were relieved to see that the mint condition Jacobean side table that was in that part of the box was unharmed. The forks had missed it by almost half an inch.
