Those of you who remember Ethel Wilson's American Country Antiques Show, better known as "The Granby Show" will probably recall it as the Connecticut River Valley's premier event for collectors of country furniture, smalls, and folk art. At the time of the demise of that show, the Tolland Antiques Show was developing along the same lines, with many of the same dealers and a similar philosophy. When Ethel discontinued Granby, Tolland was poised to fill the void. It is probably safe to say that the Tolland show is now Connecticut's most highly anticipated show of its type.
