Dorset VT Antiques Festival

Hard on the heels of Brimfield, Linda Turner's Dorset show is a high point of the Summer season. Dealers set up their spaces on front lawns of town residents, on the green, and in parking lots. For some inexplicable reason, this show works. Up-market dealers exhibit at and shop the show, as do the gamut of dealers and buyers. As everyone knows, Vermont is beautiful in July, and buyers converge on this show.

General admission (10:00 - 4:00) is $7.00. Early admission ($25.00 per person) gets you onto the field during dealer setup at 8:00. In our judgment, there's so much good material at this show that the added expense of early buying makes sense for only the most aggressive buyers. Come at the more civilized hour of 10:00 and save your money for stuff.
