The village of Wyck Rissington

In this month's Newsletter
We've just returned home from another wonderful visit to
England. We bought very well, and our shipment arrived safely on
Monday morning, allowing us plenty of time to get everything
ready for our November Opening on the 12th and 13th.
As you scroll down this page, you'll find more about the
Opening, and a small souvenir of our travels - a pictorial of
Burford, one of our favorite Cotswold villages. Since
most of our new stock is being held for the opening, there's no
New Inventory page this month, but there are several new
listings on
MaggsList. And, of course, Pippin's Page
and the Back Page.
We hope you'll have a look. |

A Preview of Our November Opening
This
November's Opening may be our
richest yet. The finds from our recent and very successful
English buying trip have been made even sweeter by another
buying opportunity that came to us out of the blue shortly
before our voyage.

A Walk Down Burford's High Street
We invite you to join us as we stroll down the High Street of
this wonderful medieval village, our base for exploring the
Cotswolds.

The Back Page
We've never understood the success of Europe's ubiquitous
American fast food outlets. For example, a few years ago,
while visiting Antwerp,
we counted three McDonald's in a single block. We recently
needed to visit a Burger King in Sussex for emergency
supplies. Click
here for a sobering price check on a mini-bottle of 2%
milk.
