Tolland Historical Society Antiques Show

Our booth at Tolland in 2012
Those who remember Ethel Wilson's American Country Antiques Show, better known as "The Granby Show", will probably recall that it was considered to be one of the Connecticut River Valley's premier events for collectors of country furniture, smalls, and folk art. At the time of the demise of that show, the Tolland Antiques Show was developing along the same lines, with many of the same dealers and a similar philosophy. When the Granby show was discontinued, Tolland was poised to fill the void. It is probably safe to say that the Tolland show is now Connecticut's most highly anticipated show of its type. Buyers come form near and far, and dealers bring fresh, wonderful things. The show's sponsors, The Tolland Historical Society, have kept rents at a reasonable level, helping to make the show profitable for its dealers. There is very little turnover at Tolland - a sign of a very healthy show. If you've never been to Tolland, come and see what you've been missing.
