Whether or not this unique object was originally made as a kitchen implement, its shape, wear, and the charred wood on its handle strongly suggest such a use. At any rate, it is an interesting and novel object with considerable age. We believe it to be English and to have been made in the eighteenth century. Height: 5.25".
