Ginger jar lamp

The heart of this lamp is an antique Chinese ginger jar, which rests on a turned wooden base. The standard socket is fitted to the top of the jar externally, so that drilling of the jar is unnecessary. Consequently, the base and jar are not connected, but rather, the base serves as an independent stand.
