Six-arm chandelier by Lester Berry



An outstanding copy of a Dutch period chandelier by American metalsmith Lester Berry, who earned a reputation as "the dean of American reproduction lighting" in the early 1900s. Each arm is comprised of graceful arcs and connects to the bulbous central shaft with an integral tenon which is pegged into one of the six slots in the ring near the center of the shaft. the several discrete members of the shaft are held together by an internal iron rod, secured at the top with an iron wedge. This chandelier was not intended to be and has never been electrified. Height: 22"; diameter: 23".
