Simple concentric circle decoration and single diagonal line to define the hinge. An unusual example, never having had a pin protruding from the arm opposite the spring. Illegible maker's mark is almost certainly "Timmins", one of England's most prolific manufacturers of sugar nippers. Length: 7.5".
