Set of six steel table knives with Meissen handles

Forged carbon steel blades set into Meissen pistol-shaped handles. Unmarked, but probably made in Sheffield, ca. 1830. Length: 6 inches. Like most 18th- and 19th-century knives, these are finely honed and will retain their edge.
