Congratulations! You’ve found the Internet’s premier source for back issues of The Magazine Antiques. With nearly 15,000 issues from the magazine’s 90 year run, we’re able to serve the needs of libraries, museums, dealers, and collectors.

We’re not in the magazine business; we sell period antiques. We provide this service only because we feel someone should, and we strive to keep our prices reasonable. Consequently, efficiency is important to us. To expedite the process for us and for yourself, please read the following guidelines before writing to us.

1. Check our inventory below, which we keep current.

2. All issues cost $6.00 each. Orders for ten or more magazines will be discounted by 10%. All orders will be shipped by Priority Mail. We will determine the least expensive rate and charge you only what the post office charges us. A surcharge of $5.00 will be added to international shipments. We prefer payment by PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, we require payment by check or credit card prior to shipping.

3. To place an order, please send us an e-mail (jmaggs@jmaggs.com) that includes:

a. Your name and mailing address.

b. The date(s) of the issue(s) you’d like to buy.

c. If you’re interested in a particular article and wish to verify its contents, simply ask. We’ll be happy to check for no charge.

d. Your PayPal account user name. If you don’t have a PayPal account, please inform us that you’ll be paying by check or credit card. We’ll send you an invoice and further instructions.

4. Upon receipt of your e-mail, we will send you a PayPal invoice. As soon as we receive payment, we’ll mail your order, usually within 24 hours.
