A wonderful Georgian 15k gold ring which is closed-back set with a beautiful, foiled, faceted amethyst stone of 4 carats. The oval amethyst (12 x 11mm) is bezel-set with eight crimps and mounted horizontally. The simple gold D-shaped shank terminates at the shoulders.  The verso is slightly rounded, which is typical of Georgian rings, and may be worn alone, or will stack well with other rings. This English, cushion-cut ring is currently a size 8.  It is stunning….
