Two highly detailed and atmospheric oil paintings by this listed French artist. Framed identically and labelled on the reverse in ink, these paintings were probably sold around the turn of the 20th century by the New York-based department stores Abraham and Straus.

Both paintings are in very good condition. “Winter” came to us with a shrinkage crack between its two vertical panels. The gap has been professionally filled and in-painted.
