A Visit to the Toledo Museum of Art

Since our primary objective in this trip were to visit important museums in Cleveland and Detroit, our visit to Toledo was largely accidental. Our objective for Tuesday was, consequently, to drive from Cleveland to Detroit and check into our hotel. Fortunately for us, our drive took us very close to Toledo, and we decided to add the Toledo Museum of Art to our itinerary. Perhaps it was the citation in Wikipedia that in 2010, the museum was voted America's favorite museum by the readers of the visual arts website "Modern Art Notes" that encouraged us to visit. At any rate, we are both extremely happy that we did.
